What are the characteristics of the genre in the music video?
-Show Me What I'm Looking For is a pop rock video
-Uses mostly close  up shots through out to focus on the singer and what he see's

What is the relationship between lyrics and visuals?
There is a relationship between most of the lyrics and visuals for example.
-"I'll be strong"- extreme close up of American flag shown on tv symbolising the singer
- "So show me what I'm looking for"-shows close ups of various signs, suggesting the singer is looking for somebody to show him what he needs
-"Lord I've been waiting for you"-moon shows face-god?
-"Save I'm lost"- sun shown in shot, suggesting he may have found what he was looking for
-"Show me what I'm looking for"-crane wide shot of whole location showing that he may still be searching for something

What is the relationship between music and visuals?
-The music and visuals often link for example. in the first few seconds of the music video when the signs are shown as the singer says "show me what I'm looking for" it is in time with the bell being rung.

- There is constant close up of the artists face throughout this music video, suggesting that this is personal to him and his story. Also, there is close up of image motifs such as "motel" signs this emphasises the lyric that the artist says.

-Performance- artist is constantly seen singing through out the music video
-Narrative- shows the artists journey to find the thing he is looking for

Conclusion
-Overall, I think this music video is interesting as it uses a constant tracking and close up shot to create the artists journey throughout the song and I also like how, at the end of the video it uses wide shots to show that he may or may not have found what he needs.
